Leonard Palmer

Lenny Palmer is a business development manager at RBC Clearing & Custody. He helps independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors evaluate their custody options. In addition to traditional sales efforts, he’s responsible for growing the business organically through proactive service and consultation.

He has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, much of it working in operations and providing fully disclosed clearing services to the broker-dealer and registered investment advisor community. Before joining RBC Clearing & Custody, Lenny was director of investment advisor client service at J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns for eight years. He also previously worked with Pershing, Prudential Bache and E.F. Hutton.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in business management and economics from Cornell University, Lenny’s a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and has passed the Series 7, 24 and 63 securities license exams.
